Open Eyes

The sound of multiple marching footsteps got his attention. He was blind but not deaf. He’d never heard this much ruckus on this road. He tilted his head in the direction of the sound and heard some people say that Jesus of Nazareth was with the crowd. At once he knew what that meant. He cleared his throat and started screaming “…“Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Mark 10:47

That caught Jesus’ attention and mine too. While others saw Him as Jesus of Nazareth, identifying Him by where He came from, Bartimaeus addressed Him as the Messiah. He knew the Messiah would be the son of David as prophesied in the Old Testament.

His physical eyesight may have been impaired but his spiritual eyes were wide open. He had deep insight that had nothing to do with his physical condition.

Pray that God will open your eyes to see beyond the pale. To see Him for who He is and experience Him in ways you never thought possible. Your perception of God will determine what you receive from Him. Seeing God for who He is will uncomplicate your walk with Him.

Ask God to give you deep insight into who He is and watch your life transform, fears dissipate, anxieties evaporate and your faith increase. The more you know Him, the better you’ll worship Him.

Blessings!

Love, Lady Monica ❤️
