How Far?

People give many reasons for the failure too. We’re nine days into the new year so I’m still musing on resolutions and goals. I landed on the story of that puny man Zacchaeus. His was not about new year’s resolutions but he teaches us a lesson we can apply to the pursuit of our goals.

The lesson: If it’s that important to you and you really want it, you’ll find a way to accomplish it! The man was rich and just wanted to see who Jesus was. He wasn’t a leper or a blind man seeking healing. His goal was simply to see who Jesus was. Pure curiousity.

He wasn’t going to let anything stop him: not his short frame or the thick crowd; not mokcery or shame. He wanted to accomplish this goal so bad, he was willing to go as far (or as high) as he could. ‭‭”So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way.” Luke 19:4

How badly do you want to improve yourself this year, get healthy, obtain that promotion, get closer to God, grow as a Christian, buy that house, make your marriage better? The list is endless.

Whether it’s one goal, two resolutions or ten, how far are you willing to go to obtain it or them? Again, the year is still young so start mapping out a path to make this year better than last.
Blessings

Love, Lady Mo❤️
