He Lives!!

“But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last.” Job 19:25

This is a statement of bold confidence especially coming from Job. He had found himself in unexpected horrible circumstances which were not of his doing. He was a righteous man as the bible says and yet out of nowhere a great storm had hit him and wiped out all he had and loved! Still he chose to hold on to his faith in God amidst confusion, the badgering of his friends and wife’s unwise counsel. In the middle of all that he was assured that his Redeemer lived!!!

I want you to remind you this morning than your Redeemer lives. He died for you to redeem you from sin and Satan’s hold. He rose from the dead and ascended to heaven. Right now as we speak, He is interceding on your and my behalf!! So when you wake up in the morning and pray you are taking to a living savior! Not a dead one, not a wooden one, not an illusive one but a real living breathing Savior who hears you, sees you and cares for you! And He speaks back to you as well!!

That ought to make you excited! In the end when all things have passed away, we will see our Savior, our Redeemer again! The hope we have extends beyond the present life. We will get to spend eternity with our Savoir! That is something to live for. Job made a hopeful statement many years ago and it is true for you and I too! May the Holy

Ghost imprint this fact on your heart and on your mind. Yes, we serve a living, breathing God who has promised to make all things work out for your good!! Walk around today with a smile for your Redeemer lives.
