To His Glory

“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” I Corinthians 10:31

In other words in everything you do, your motive should be to please, honor and act in accordance with His commands and precepts. Whether it is in everyday mundane things like eating and drinking or in serious situations like transacting businesses, working at your job, relating to people, known and strangers alike, you must conduct yourself in a way that glorifies God. In everything. Simple. Yet, not so simple.

I decided to go over the day I had yesterday, in my mind, to see of I passed the “do all to glorify God test”. Let us just say I need more grace. I encourage you to do the same. As children of God our number one goal in how we live our lives should be to please God. Of course it will be a struggle sometimes because we dwell in this flesh and in this world where temptations abound. But when we are tempted to do things the other way, let us look for the way out that God promises to provide.

We encounter several situations whether in school, at home, at work or even when we are alone that will push us to act, talk or think in a way that may not please God. I pray that when you meet any such situation, you will choose the option that will gladden God’s heart.

In your talking, walking, thinking, watching, looking, eating, drinking, responding to others, reading, relationships, leisure time, put a smile on God’s face! At the end of the day, take stock and determine to do better the next day and the next and the next…!

God is able to make us abound in all grace and that includes the grace to do all to His glory.

Blessings!

Love, Lady Monica❤
