Safest Place

She was caught in adultery. The self-righteous men decided to teach her a lesson and test Jesus in the process.

“Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act.” John 8:3‭-‬4

They were prepared to stone her according to the Law but Jesus disarmed them with one statement: he who is without sin should cast the first stone! As hypocritic as they were, they couldn’t bring themselves to throw a single stone.

Their biggest mistake was bringing the woman to Jesus. They brought her to the safest place there was! Jesus, full of grace, compassion and mercy wasn’t going to condemn her!

I want you to know that if Jesus is in your corner, you’re in a good place; you will be alright. He’s welcoming not condemning. With Him on your side or with you at His feet, you will get through every challenge and overcome every obstacle. He will also take care of every weakness and every limitation that threaten to overwhelm you.

Stay at His feet; trust me, it’s the safest place you can find.
