Hold On, Your God is Faithful!

We have all encountered situations where our faith has been challenged or maybe you are going through such a situation now.

Thomas faced the greatest challenge to his faith when Jesus died. He felt hopeless for what good thing can happen after death occurs? He had given up hope so much that when the disciples told him Jesus had resurrected and appeared to them in his absence he called them liars. Thomas said unless he saw Jesus and touched his wounds, he wouldn’t believe what the disciples said. Eight days later Jesus appeared again in Thomas’ presence and he believed. In response Jesus said blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.

My prayer for you this morning is that you hold on fast the promises of God to you no matter how today looks like. One thing we know for sure is that God is faithful, He has good plans for you and I and though things may look dry around you, God is still working even though we may not see or feel it.

So you woke up this morning still sick, jobless, penniless, dealing with a wayward child, a difficult husband, not sure if you will still have a place to sleep tonight, God is still faithful. I urge you to keep trusting and do what Heb 10:23 says: “let us hold unswervingly to the hope that we profess for He who promised is faithful”.

Hope keeps us alive so never stop hoping and believing.
