Fresh & New

No two days are the same. Everyday has its own challenges, possibilities and expectations. We wake up not knowing what the day holds for us. We may make plans, draw up lists, set daily goals but our best plans are all at the mercy of God!

Lamentations 3:22-23 gives us the confidence we need to face everyday. It says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

God’s mercies are new every morning. Every morning, God’s mercies flow fresh to us! They’re especially designed to get us through today. They’re tailor made for today’s challenges and opportunities.

God’s mercies refer to His love, compassion, charity, grace, etc. His mercies provide the fuel we need to make it through each day. His mercies erode our mistakes of yesterday and hand us a new slate to begin today!

Whatever happened yesterday, whatever you’re going through, a new day is here with new and fresh mercies just for you! Thank God for today for His freshly baked mercies and walk boldly to make the best of the day. Tap into today’s mercies, they’re already flowing your way!
